Baby Eilee | Maternity, Fresh 48 and Newborn Session!

My dear friends here, Rachel and Joey, had baby Eilee just 6 DAYS after their maternity session! Once Eilee was here, I was honored to do both their Fresh 48 session as well as their newborn session. So, in this post, you will see highlights from all THREE sessions!

Rachel and Joey knew they wanted a natural birth again but did not know how fast it would be. She said her water broke at 5 a.m., they rushed to the hospital and baby was here just two hours later. Crazy! And no meds! I cannot imagine what that is like. (Props to all you women out there who have done that!)

It was very special to be able to capture these sessions, just days apart. Rachel and Joey are such a sweet couple, and their daughter Mille (2 years) is absolutely adorable!

 

We had a beautiful day at their maternity session at the Great Plains Nature Center!

Baby Eilee Annette was born at 10:01 on Feb 22, 2017 weighing 7 lbs 6 oz. at the Wesley Birthcare Center in Wichita, KS

Their newborn session was different than any other I’ve done! We started in studio but then head over to Joey’s work, the Andover Fire Station!
