Elizabeth and Jason | First Evangelical Free Church Wedding

Meet the sweetest couple ever, Elizabeth and Jason McCollum! From the first time I met Elizabeth, I knew she was a sweetheart. Her and Jason had the most innocent, precious air about them. It was seen while they were getting ready, during the first look and the whole rest of the evening.

The wedding was held at their church, First Evangelical Free in Wichita, KS. My favorite moment was a tie between the first look and the vows. During the first look, Jason couldn’t stop smiling and kissing Elizabeth, like he was in disbelief that this beautiful girl was about to be his wife. Even the pastor said during the ceremony, “Jason, I don’t know how you got her to say yes!” And during the ceremony, Elizabeth and Jason surprised everybody by reciting their OWN MEMORIZED vows!! Only one bridesmaid knew of it beforehand because she helped Elizabeth memorize it. They were the sweetest vows I’ve ever heard.

Elizabeth’s mom said they found all the rustic decor from places on their own, that a friend of theirs hand painted the floral backdrop for the photo booth, and all scripted signs were written by her amazing sister Hannah Herrman!

After the ceremony was a simple reception in the banquet hall of the church with not your typical cake and wine– but pie and coffee (done by Carriage Crossing)! It was short and sweet, but nothing short of memorable with the amount of love that flowed through the room. You could just feel the happiness within them as they flew out of there in their little red SUV!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. McCollum! It was a perfect day!
