Meet the sweetest people alive, Sandra and her husband Adam! Sandra and Adam met at Optometry school (hence the engraved lens that she brought for me to incorporate in her detail shots!) where they first hit it off! He graduated first, they lived long distance for a while, then she finished school and planned a wedding at the same time! From the first time I worked with this couple at their engagement session, I was enamored with them. Seriously, Sandra could not be a sweeter, more gentle, kind hearted person. And Adam is the perfect gentleman and husband to Sandra.
Can I just say that brides are allowed to be all about themselves on the day of their wedding? It’s a huge day- there’s anxiety, stress, anticipation, excitement. But all Sandra cared about was everyone else. She was not only concerned about others during the day but was affirming me in my job as well; I was blown away by her kindness.
We were a little spoiled with the timeline of this day as well. The couple had a first look, and after the beautiful ceremony, we were allowed even more time to take pictures before the reception started an hour later at Abode– yes! I love it when this happens because we weren’t rushed and were able to get all the reception details before guests arrived.
I also loved how they tied in some of their Vietnamese traditions into the wedding. A backdrop was set up at the reception venue that Sandra and Adam stood in front of, and countless guests came and took turns taking pictures with them; the food was catered by PF Changs and was amazing; and Sandra and Adam were later escorted and announced to every table, where they were met with applause and love. It was so special to witness.
I cannot say thank you enough to Sandra and Adam for choosing us to partake in this amazing day. She even text me a picture the next morning of their whole group saying thank you again! Can you say wow?!
Enjoy some of my favorites!
