Tyler and Amanda | A Wichita Engagement

Meet my cousin Tyler and his beautiful fiance Amanda! Tyler is the funnest, down to earth, spontaneous, hard working red-head you will ever meet! Ty and I were really close growing up (we are only two weeks apart). We used to joke that if we didn’t find anyone to marry someday that we would live together as best friends in this little white house we liked out in the country. Needless to say, he found his “one” and I couldn’t be more excited for them! Amanda is so perfect for Ty. She is funny, keeps him on track (ha!) and loves him unconditionally.

Amanda and Tyler first met and started talking at a mutual friend’s bonfire. After he took a liking to her, and she finally told him she liked him also, they began dating. A year and a half later, he finally popped the question on a cruise ship! Tyler led Amanda to the giant staircase to “take some pictures” and once on the stairs, he turned toward her and proposed right there in front of everyone. My mom and his mom were also able to be there to see it. It sounded like a dream!

The couple decided to have their engagement session where the wedding will take place- Rustic Timbers. It was the first time I had actually been out there and it is to die for. I am anxious to see which spot they hold their ceremony in! Enjoy some of my favorites from the session and stay tuned for their big day in May!
