Meet Sydney and Mason! Sydney is one of the kindest, laid back, freaking cool chicks I’ve ever met! Her and Mason make one super sweet couple.
Their wedding was held at Prairie Hill Vineyard last month, and I had never seen that place more gorgeous. Everything was in bloom and we had a perfect day. The ceremony set up was simple and held with the large tree as the background. The reception set up was under the tent with a sweet vintage feel. I was told that all of the lace table cloths were Sydney’s grandmother’s.
Every wedding has to have a hiccup right? Well, poor Sydney had to have two small hiccups happen to her. These aren’t really fun or funny in the moment but later it’s good to be able to laugh about them! So, right before couple portraits at sunset, Sydney had wine accidentally spilled on her white dress. She was upset but Mason said all the right words, the videographer quickly went to grab Danielle, the venue coordinator, and before we knew it, we were back in business! Then about fifteen minutes later, I heard Danielle say the words, “Okay DON’T freak out but there’s something in your dress that we have to get out.” Inside the layers on the back of her dress was a HUGE garden spider. Ugh! She said, “What is it?” Mason, as calm as could be, simply said, “Oh it’s nothing.” I told her not to look back. And no one ever told her! I came to find out later on from her mom that she is deathly afraid of spiders!
This wedding was a blast, through and through. Good people and good times. And we couldn’t have been happier for Sydney and Mason. Here are some favorites from their day!
