Brett and Allison Mauk | St. Mary’s Church Wedding

Meet Allison and Brett Mauk! This couple is so much fun. Through taking pictures of their daughter Mina for them this past year, I fell in love with their family well before the wedding.

Allison and Brett were married at St. Mary’s in Derby, KS. The church was so elegant it didn’t need much more decor added to it. I was in love with the high ceiling beams.

The reception was held at the Hereford House in Andover, KS. As you entered the room, you saw a giant chandelier hung in the middle of the room, mint and blush decor, fresh flowers, a rustic backdrop for the head table and smaller chandeliers hung to add to the romantic setting. But the next big thing that caught my eye (and the eyes of many others) was the GROOM’S CAKE. It. Was. Awesome. Made by WOW Cakes, it was in the shape of a real Whiskey bottle, complete with the description of the bottle on the side and everything. I had never seen anything like it! It was the talk of the room.

The couple was celebrated well, with wonderful toasts, tears shed and many loving family and friends present. Thank you Brett and Allison for letting us be a part of it all. Enjoy my favorites from the big day!
