Matt and Macy Burk | Stone Hill Barn Wedding

I had the privilege of shooting Matt and Macy’s gorgeous wedding a couple weeks back at the Stone Hill Barn in Augusta, KS! It had been a while since I shot solo but it just made me that much more determined to do the best that I could for them! This was also the first time I had gotten to shoot at this venue and I couldn’t have been more impressed.

The natural light, the tall wood structures, the open concepts– everything about the venue’s design was amazing. The girls got ready in the upstairs part of the house, and did the final touches in the bridal suite where they would stay that night. Also- the bed! It was amazing. Who wouldn’t want to stay in the bridal suite?

We had an overcast, rainy day but that just meant the venue and greenery lit up with its vibrant colors of spring. It POURED just as the bridal party and guests ran into the barn for the start of the ceremony. But Macy did not stop smiling! Right as  the ceremony ended, it stopped raining so we used that small window for some quick gorgeous shots of the couple outside the barn. Macy and Matt were so sweet to watch together. I loved every part of their big day!
